Although these important cities cover a big part of the trip, Cape Cod will capture your attention. With plenty of opportunity to discover the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod National Seashore is a destination of its own. Mystic Seaport will give you another perspective with a 19th-century seafaring village that comes to life.

Because of the small distances between the destinations and the many ways the parks interact with children, we consider this as a child-friendly trip. Be sure to explore the kids and youth section on the National Park Service website for each destination. Kids will adore it to become a junior ranger.
