Ottawa is the capital of Canada. With Parliament Hill as the seat of Canada’s federal government there is always something going on. The nearby Ottawa Locks of the Rideau Canal are another masterpiece of this city's charm. The Ottawa River forms a natural barrier between the English and French language. Leaving Ottawa and entering Gatineau means that you're really in French Canada.
