If you're interested in a short visit to La Mauricie National Park you can make a back and forth detour of 35 minutes from Quebec Route 155 to the parks Saint-Jean-des-Piles Visitor Information Centre. The Visitor's Centre 3-D slide show: Mystic Laurentians (presented on request) and Exhibition room are a fine way to become more familiar with the nature and human history of La Mauricie National Park.
