Kane Gulch Ranger Station

This site serves as an anchor point to get correct driving instructions to drive to access point Utah Highway 261.


Info for this point: Bureau of Land Management "office" for Grand Gulch Primitive Area. Between the ranger station and the southern edge of Cedar Mesa there are eight trailheads and/or roads leading to trails which descend into the canyon system.
 
Day 4:Driving: From the Kane Gulch Ranger Station to the access point for the 17 mile Valley of the Gods gravel scenic drive your estimated driving time is 34 minutes. Be aware while you are driving to the Valley of the Gods, you should not be afraid of heights. You will enter the Moki Dugway, which is steep, narrow and winding.
